I'm please to announce the release of G-eospot version 2.0. I've completely rebuilt the application from the ground up and the performance is much improved.

The application doesnt cover the whole globe at present mainly due to Google map constraints and the underlying technology. As time goes on I will add more coverage so everyone can be included.

As mentioned in my last entry I have been busy sorting out a support section to handle/answer your Cockbook queries. Hopefully this will build up over time as you ask us more queries.

The new support section doesnt just contain general how to's from us but also includes the ability to ask other members about problems you've come across and let them answer.

I hope you find this a good addition to the site. Now on too more features and a few repairs on existing features.

Happy new year to all our users, as a new year starts I thought it would be good to include yet another new feature. The new feature is one of the largest we've added since the site went live as it integrates into a lot of the existing functionality.

We've added an events feature to the site, this allows hosts to create an event page for any up and coming events that they'd like other Cockbook members to attend. You have quite a few controls over the page and Guest listed members can interact before and after the event.

This is the first version of this feature so as you begin to use it and find we've missed something that you'd think would improve the event experience feel free to let me know.

Our sights are probably set on an extensive help system so those have problems with the wide number of features, have a resource to look up and hopefully improve your Cockbook experience.
